Time Magazine has made a surprising choice for Person of the Year: Sonny Bono. It's an unusual choice because Bono has been dead for almost 8 years. I think it's the first time that this honor has been awarded posthumously. I guess their reasoning is that the influence of all of his accomplishments in Congress is only now being felt.
