Generally, I am against strikes and unions even though I think anything that makes it harder for the liberal New York media to get to work is probably a good thing. But then I heard the Transit Workers Union President Roger Toussaint talk about what this strike was really about: the unborn. I think this might be the first anti-abortion strike in history. Once a transit worker is born I think they should be allowed to fend for themselves and don't need excessive benefits and large inflationary pay raises that will only make them lazy. But unborn transit workers are innocent and they need our protection. Recognizing unborn transit workers as persons instead of fetuses that can be aborted may just be the first step to overturning Roe v. Wade. Forbidding women from aborting unborn transit workers and giving their unborn babies rights might lead to other unions protecting their unborn workers. Unborn air traffic controllers, unborn teachers, unborn auto workers, unborn farmworkers may all get similar protections in the future until nearly all unborn Americans will be protected. Roger Toussaint may go down in history as the man who ended abortion in this country.

This strike is a terrible idea. I'm all for future transit workers being born, but has Transit Workers Union President Roger Toussaint thought this through? What if a future abortionist slips through the cracks? We must ask ourselves, "Isn't it better that 10 future transit workers remain unborn, rather than 1 future abortionist be born," and hope that Transit Workers Union President Roger Toussaint does the right thing and calls off the strike.
